SOPAPILLAS WITH FIERY DIP

Ingredients Weight Measure
Cinnamon 2 oz. 1/4 cup
Sugar 2 oz. 1/4 cup
Hershey's® Chocolate Syrup 2 oz. 1/4 cup
TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce 1/4 tsp.
Flour tortilla 1 ea.
Butter, melted as needed
Fire & Ice Cream (see separate recipe in Red recipes) 2 #20 scoops

Method

  1. Mix cinnamon and sugar together. Blend well.
  2. 2.x09Combine chocolate syrup and TABASCO® Habanero Sauce. Blend well and reserve.
  3. Fry flour tortilla until lightly brown, about 1 minute per side. Place in a basket and allow to drain.
  4. Brush tortilla with melted butter and coat with cinnamon-sugar. Cut into 8 wedge-shaped pieces.
  5. Place Fire & Ice Cream in a bowl and top with chocolate sauce. Garnish with tortilla wedges around outside of ice cream.

Yield: 1 serving
