Ingredients Weight Measure
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 4 oz. 1/2 cup
Ginger, fresh, minced 3 oz. 6 Tbsp.
Honey 4 oz. 1/2 cup
Oil 2 oz. 4 Tbsp.
Allspice 1/2 tsp.
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Ham 5 lbs. 1 ea.


  1. Combine all ingredients, blend well and let stand for 1/2 hour.
  2. Score top of ham diagonally across from right to left, then again from left to right.
  3. Place ham in roasting pan with 1" water in the bottom. Cover ham with 1/2 of the glaze (about 1 cup).
  4. Cover ham and bake in a 350°F oven until a 155°F internal temperature is reached. Uncover ham, brush with remaining glaze and cook until browned.

Yield: 2 cups glaze for 5 lbs. ham

A great springtime recipe, ideal for Mother's Day and Easter brunches or dinners.
