BREW STEAK WITH FIERY FIVE-ONION SAUTÉ

Brew Steak

Guinness® Beer 16 oz. 2 cups
A.1. Bold & Spicy Steak Sauce 8 oz. 1 cup
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 8 oz. 1 cup
Flank steaks 3 each
Fiery Five-Onion Sauté (recipe below) as needed

Fiery Five-Onion Sauté

Ingredients Weight Measure
Butter 4 oz.
Red onions, sliced 1/2 lb.
Spanish onions, sliced 1/2 lb.
White onions, sliced 1/2 lb.
Vidalia onions, sliced 1/2 lb.
Leeks, sliced 1/2 lb.
Beer 8 oz. 1 cup
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1 oz. 2 Tbsp

Method

  1. To make the Brew Steak, combine beer, steak sauce and TABASCO® Sauce and blend well. Marinate steak for 6-8 hours. Grill steak on both sides until desired doneness. Serve topped with Fiery Five-Onion Sauté.
  2. To make the Fiery Five-Onion Sauté, heat sauté pan, melt butter and add onions. Cook over medium-low heat until well-caramelized. Deglaze pan with beer. Cook onions in beer until dry. Add TABASCO® Sauce. Blend well and hold warm until needed.

Yield: 3 steaks
