FIERY PINEAPPLE & PAPAYA RICE

Ingredients Weight Measure
Butter 3 oz.
Onions 1/4 cup
Papaya 1 cup
Pineapple 1 cup
Rice 2 cups
Water 6 cups
Salt 1 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 Tbsp.

Method

  1. Heat butter in large sauce pot. Add onions and sauté papaya, pineapple and rice. Stir to coat rice.
  2. Add water, salt and TABASCO® Sauce. Bring to a boil; then cover. Cook rice for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let stand briefly. Fluff with a fork.

Yield: 12 servings
