SAUTEÉD SHRIMP WITH SPICY CHAMPAGNE SAUCE

Ingredients Weight Measure
Oil 2 Tbsp.
Shrimp, large 1 lb. 12 ea.
Onions, diced 2 Tbsp.
Garlic, minced 1 Tbsp.
Brandy 1/4 cup
Champagne 1 cup
Heavy cream 1 cup
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 Tbsp.

Method

  1. Heat oil in a sauté pan. Add shrimp and cook through. Remove from pan.
  2. Add onions and garlic to pan. Sauté until aromatic. Add brandy and flambé.
  3. Add champagne and heavy cream. Reduce by half. Add shrimp and heat through.

Yield: 2 servings

A perfect choice as an hors d'oeuvre or entrée for New Year's Celebrations.
