CHOCOLATE PASSION STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE

Ingredients Weight Measure
Strawberries, sliced 4 cups
Sugar 2 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1 tsp.
Honey 1 Tbsp.
Chocolate cake, 9" 1 ea.
Whipped cream as needed

Method

  1. Combine strawberries, sugar, TABASCO® Sauce and honey. Stir well and allow to rest for 1/2 hour.
  2. Cut cake in half. Top the bottom half with 2 cups of marinated strawberries and whipped cream. Top with second half of cake. Top with remaining strawberries and whipped cream.

Yield: 1 cake
