BLUE CHEESE-STUFFED WINGS

Ingredients Weight Measure
Chicken wings, fresh, thawed and washed 12 ea.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce (marinade) 1 cup
Blue cheese, broken 3 oz.
Bell pepper, fresh, small dice 1/2 cup
Seasoned flour 2 cups

TABASCO®-spiced Butter

Butter, fresh, salted 8 oz.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1 oz.

Method

  1. Marinate the wings in 1 cup of TABASCO® Original Red Sauce for approximately 1 hour.
  2. Make a small incision about 1/4" wide across one end of the wings. Push into the incision to create a pocket.
  3. Place 1/4 oz. of the blue cheese into each wing. Set wings in the freezer for approximately 1 hour.
  4. Toss wings in seasoned flour mixture. Deep fry for 3-4 minutes or until cooked through. Remove and drain well.
  5. To make the TABASCO®-spiced Butter, soften/melt butter in microwave for approximately 2-3 minutes on high. Do not boil butter. Whisk in 1 oz. of TABASCO® Original Red Sauce. Hold at room temperature until needed.
  6. Toss wings with the TABASCO®-spiced Butter until well coated and serve hot.

Yield: 1 dozen wings
