ITALIAN DRUMSTICKS

Ingredients Weight Measure
Pancake mix 20 oz. 4 cups
Parmesan cheese, grated 4 oz. 1 cup
Salt 1/4 oz. 1 Tbsp.
Basil, dried 1/4 oz. 2 Tbsp.
Oregano, dried 1/4 oz. 2 Tbsp.
Parsley, finely chopped 1 oz. 1 cup
Water 24 oz. 3 cups
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 1 cup
Chicken drumsticks 8 lbs. 36 ea.

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, place pancake mix, Parmesan cheese, salt, basil, oregano and parsley. Stir to combine. Measure water and stir in TABASCO® Garlic Pepper Sauce. Add liquid to pancake mix and beat 1 to 2 minutes to blend. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Dip chicken drumsticks in batter and deep-fry at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes until chicken is golden brown.
  3. Drain and serve. One serving is 3 drumsticks.
