SPICY THAI MEATBALLS

Ingredients Weight Measure
Ketchup 1-1/2 cups
Vinegar 1-1/2 cups
Brown sugar 1-1/2 cups
Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1/2 cup
Garlic, minced 1/2 cup
Red pepper flakes, crushed 2 Tbsp.
Cilantro, minced 1/2 cup
Frozen Italian meatballs 3 lbs.
Wooden skewers as needed

Method

  1. Mix the ketchup, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, TABASCO® Sauce, garlic and red pepper flakes together to make sauce. Cook in saucepan over medium heat until thickened, stirring occasionally. Let the sauce cool and then stir in minced cilantro. Set aside.
  2. Thaw the meatballs and place on wooden skewers. Grill the meatballs, brushing with sauce just before removing from grill. Serve immediately with additional sauce on the side.

Yield: 12-20 servings
