Caramel Sauce

Sugar 1 cup
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 3 Tbsp.
Water 2 Tbsp.

Sweetened condensed milk 14 oz.
Evaporated milk 12 oz.
Large eggs 7 ea.
Cream cheese 8 oz.
Vanilla 1 tsp.


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Place the ingredients for the Caramel Sauce in pan. Cook until mixture is a light amber color, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour the caramel sauce into a nonstick flan dish or a small Bundt pan.
  4. Place all ingredients for the Flan into a blender or mixer and mix for 5 minutes. Then strain the mixture and pour over caramel sauce.
  5. Bake the flan in a water bath for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until done. Let the flan cool down for 1 hour.
  6. Invert the serving platter over the pan and then gently flip out the flan, being careful not to lose any of the sauce.

Yield: 12 servings

Serving idea: Garnish as desired with fresh strawberries or raspberries and whipped cream.
