Pear halves, large, canned 12 ea.
Cream cheese, softened 8 oz.
Crabmeat, crawfish or lobster pieces 12 oz.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 Tbsp.
Parsley, finely minced 2 Tbsp.
Lemon zest 3 Tbsp.


  1. Drain pears well and let dry. Remove a small slice from the rounded side of the pear to make a flat surface.
  2. Put in food processor: cream cheese, crab/crawfish/lobster meat, TABASCO® Sauce, syrup and parsley. Pulse to mix until smooth but not mushy. This mixture can be made up to 2 days ahead.
  3. Using a small ice cream scoop, fill the pear cavity with seafood–cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle pear with lemon zest.

Yield: 12 servings

Serving idea: Garnish a luncheon plate with lettuce, place pear in center and add a small toast or biscuit on the side.
