CALYPSO HEAT COLESLAW

Ingredients Weight Measure
Red cabbage, shredded 6 cups
Carrots, diced 1 cup
Red bell peppers, diced 1/2 cup
Green bell peppers, diced 1/2 cup
Raisins 1 cup
Honey 1 cup
Sugar 2 Tbsp.
Caribbean jerk seasoning, dry 1/2 tsp.
Garlic minced 1 tsp.
Lime juice, fresh 1/4 cup
TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce 1/4 cup
Walnuts, large pieces 2-1/2 oz.

Method

  1. Combine cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, and raisins in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix honey, sugar, jerk seasoning, garlic, lime juice and TABASCO® Habanero Sauce thoroughly.
  3. Spoon dressing over cabbage mixture, toss well and chill for 1-2 hours before serving.
  4. Fold in walnuts just prior to serving.

Yield: 12 servings
