TABASCO® and STRAWBERRY POPPY SALADS

Hearts of romaine, cut into bite-size pieces 4 ea.
Head of radicchio, cut into bite-size pieces 1 ea.

Dressing

TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 Tbsp.
Canola oil 6 oz.
Cider vinegar 3 oz.
Sesame seeds 3 Tbsp.
Poppy seeds 1-1/2 Tbsp.
Sugar 6 Tbsp.

Garnishes

Ingredients Weight Measure
Strawberries, stemmed, sliced 1 pt.
Sesame breadsticks 20 ea.

Method

  1. Combine the romaine and radicchio in large bowl.
  2. Blend all dressing ingredients in a Robot Coupe® or blender and refrigerate until ready for service.
  3. Pour dressing over romaine and radicchio and toss to coat.
  4. Place dressed salad on chilled salad plates.
  5. Top with sliced strawberries and garnish each serving with 2 breadsticks.
