Enter the 2007 TABASCO® brand Hottest Chef Contest™, and show
us your TABASCO® take on today’s popular trend of flavorful Mediterranean
fare and the bold, spicy cuisine seen on menus around the world. Use meats
from the mainland or fish from the sea — and whatever fresh ingredients
you choose, incorporate plenty of creativity into your recipe!
Your recipe should embrace the culture of the Mediterranean coast, require
simple preparation and easily found ingredients, and can be served as a
day-part menu in any restaurant or non-commercial establishment. It must
also incorporate one or more of the following five TABASCO® Family of
Flavors: Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce, TABASCO® brand Green
Jalapeño Pepper Sauce, TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce, TABASCO® brand
Chipotle Pepper Sauce, or TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce.
To enter, you must be one or more of the following:
- Professional chef, sous-chef, or lead-line cook in a restaurant
- Professional chef, sous-chef, or lead-line cook at a non-commercial
foodservice establishment
- Student at a professional culinary school
