Ingredients Weight Measure
TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce --- 1/4 cup
Chorizo, small-diced2 lb.---
Cotija cheese, crumbled---1 cup
Roasted corn---1 cup
Black beans, smashed---1 cup
Empanada dough---1 qt.


Combine all ingredients except dough; mix well.

Roll out the dough to 1/4-in. thickness. Using a round 4-inch cutter, cut all of the dough into circles.

Place 1 heaping tablespoon filling into the middle of each dough circle; wet the edges of the dough with water. Create a beggar’s purse by sealing the top; cut off any remaining dough.

Preheat fryer to 350˚F; fry until golden brown.
